Bold Fusion: Blending Our Marketing & IT Teams

An institutional reorg opened the door to go beyond merely syncing the efforts between the marketing and IT teams. Our Web team jumped into the fire with the university communications team to come up with creative solutions for marketing our first new residence halls. The project included print, video and viral bulletin boards around campus, with a matching, highly-interactive micro-site. The resulting LiveOnCampus.ius.edu website was an EduStyle nominee for Best Use of Interactive Media.

Now, group creative brainstorming, fully integrated materials and shared priorities have blurred the organizational lines and amplified our ability to meet huge (and immediate!) challenges. We'll let you peek behind-the-scenes at our process to show how one university is breaking down the barriers.
