There’s nothing to do on campus – at least that’s the word in the quad. How do you breathe life into a static calendar of events and make students take notice? Get a video camera, a Mac and prepare to feel stupid. Get ready to leave fear behind, and discover new ways to engage students through the use of video and the power of the Web. Following this session, participants should be able to: identify projects that video can enhance; recognize limitations, and go forward; describe the basic steps in getting video on the Web; discover new ways to engage students Who should attend: creative people who like to applaud often; non-creative people who like to applaud often.

Todd Sanders
Student Affairs Webmaster, UW-Green Bay

Todd Sanders is the creator of the Stuff2Do vlog, an award-winning video blog designed to engage students using the powers of the new Web. He has a B.A. from the University of West Florida where he majored in Communication Arts and Advertising. After a few brief stints in the advertising world as a graphic designer and copywriter he took some time off to be a stay-at-home dad. He used his time away to develop skills as a diaper changer and Web designer – two of the dirtiest jobs in the world. For the past six years he’s been the Student Affairs Webmaster at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he continues to design for the Web and get his hands dirty.
