Bowl Over Your Auditors: Self-Service Banner Account Request Application
Plaster Student Union Ballroom
We designed and developed a self-service account request application to capture a traceable, detailed audit trail of user requests for accounts in Banner and its peripheral systems. The portal application allows end users to securely request accounts/access in Banner. Requests are then routed to the appropriate functional team leader for approval. DBAs are notified of these requests and have the ability to manually or automatically process the request, capture the status of the procedure and notify the team leaders of the end result. The procedure also captures a detailed audit log of the execution process made available to DBAs, executive management and auditors via ad-hoc or built-in reports.
